Launching the International Exhibition on Mass Timber Design and Construction – “Go To Exhibition”

On July 27 at Lang Nho Ecotourism Area – Lang Nhot Lake (Dien Tho Commune, Khanh Hoa Province), the inaugural International Exhibition on Mass Timber Design and Construction – Go To Exhibition officially kicked off.

The Go To Exhibition will take place in the form of a “show lab”, offering visitors a fully immersive experience into the entire process of constructing, using, and maintaining large-scale mass timber architectural works. These structures will be designed by renowned architectural firms from Vietnam and abroad.

The use of mass timber technologies such as LVL, Glulam, CLT, and other lightweight materials is expected to offer modular construction solutions with minimal environmental impact. These approaches aim to help reduce carbon emissions from the construction sector, which currently accounts for up to 40% of global greenhouse gas emissions, paving the way toward net-zero emissions.

The program officially begins with this kickoff event and will extend over six months, leading to the official opening ceremony in March 2026. The exhibition will then continue for three years, featuring regular monthly, quarterly, and annual activities. These include themed showcases held in actual spaces, where real materials are used, exposed to weather and time, and open for interaction with manufacturers – enabling quicker, more informed decisions for future developments.

Visitors can book interactive tours with direct access to suppliers and construction professionals. All activities will take place at Lang Nho – Lang Nhot Lake, part of the NaturalLife project in Khanh Hoa, a new tourism model combining nature, local culture, people, and sustainable economic development.

The event is co-organized by the Association of Structure Architecture Wood – Ho Chi Minh City (SAWA), Lang Nho (NaturalLife Vietnam), the Landscape Architecture Arts Institute (LAAi), Net Zero Vietnam JSC, and ConsMedia Corporation. It is supported by the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Construction and Building Materials (SACA), the Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of Ho Chi Minh City (HAWA), and the Dong Nai Fine Arts and Woodworking Association (DOWA).

Professional partners include leading design and architecture firms such as Ashui.com, A+ Architects, BHA studio, DD concept, DE-SO Asia, Hanoi Adhoc, Hue Design Hub, MIA Design Studio. The exhibition is also backed by major material suppliers: Arboreal, Hinoki Tamashi, NelsonPine, New House Solution, Phuong Nam Panel, Saint-Gobain Vietnam, Sobokuya, TAVICO, Van Xuan Thanh Aluminum, VITANA, White Steel, among others.

According to Mr. Nguyen Manh Binh San, Head of the Organizing Committee, this is a new and large-scale model in the field of Architecture and Construction. With 12 international seminars, 36 guided tours, and 5 hands-on workshops for architecture and engineering students, the exhibition is expected to draw strong interest from a construction industry increasingly focused on sustainable development.
