On the morning of September 28, 2026, Mr. Vo Quang Ha – Chairman of SAWA, welcomed Ms. Laetitia Rochatte Laetitia ROCHATTE – President of Nouvelle Société Weisrock (NS-Weisrock), France, together with Mr. Vo Quang Hung – Representative of NS-Weisrock in Vietnam, for a visit and discussion on potential cooperation with SAWA.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the potential for developing wood construction in Vietnam, as well as opportunities for cooperation between NS-Weisrock, Gerbois, and SAWA in the coming period.
With a history of more than 150 years in wood structures in France, NS-Weisrock builds on the long-standing expertise and experience of Weisrock while continuing to develop wood solutions for modern construction, including Glulam and structural wood components.
One of the key areas of cooperation is that NS-Weisrock is expected to support SAWA as a sponsor, providing support for the construction of a wooden house frame at the SAWA showroom. The model structure will serve as a practical space to showcase wood construction solutions and provide businesses, architects, engineers, and industry partners with an opportunity to see, learn about, and directly discuss wood construction solutions.
Beyond the construction of the model structure, NS-Weisrock and SAWA aim to establish long-term cooperation to promote the application of wood in construction in Vietnam, while strengthening the exchange of technology, products, and experience in wood construction.
The partnership with NS-Weisrock will also contribute to expanding SAWA’s international network, creating further opportunities to introduce structural wood and engineered wood solutions and bring them closer to the Vietnamese construction market.
