SAWA & TAVICO WELCOME SEQUAL – CONNECTING THE “GIVE MORE” VALUES AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Today (30 December 2025), the Ho Chi Minh City Structural Wood Association (SAWA) welcomed Ms. Jenny Loh Jenny Loh, Head of People & Customer Engagement of Sequal SEQUAL, as part of her visit and working sessions with SAWA and Tavico Group TAVICO GROUP in Dong Nai Province.

Joining the meeting were Mr. Võ Quang Hà, Chairman of SAWA and Tavico Group, together with Mr. Neil Dodunski and Mr. Adam Corrall, Vice Chairman of SAWA.

Sequal is an international company headquartered in New Zealand, operating in the field of sustainable supply chain development for the wood industry, particularly Radiata Pine sourced from responsibly managed plantation forests. Sequal focuses on building transparent, long-term partnerships that connect businesses with people, communities, and the environment, guided by its core philosophy, “Give More” — creating value beyond purely commercial interests.

During the working session at SAWA, both sides shared views on the development direction of structural wood, SAWA’s role in connecting stakeholders across the industry ecosystem, as well as initiatives to promote dialogue, collaboration, and green transition within Vietnam’s construction sector. There was also a shared interest in strengthening business connections and expanding wood trade cooperation between Viet Nam and New Zealand.

As part of the visit, the Sequal delegation toured and worked with Tavico Group. Ms. Jenny Loh expressed her appreciation for Tavico’s operational scale, capabilities, and commitment to sustainable development. She noted that Tavico’s values — from transparency and compliance to a long-term development approach — closely align with what Sequal is implementing in New Zealand.

In addition, Sequal shared its interest in becoming a sponsor of SAWA, with a view to accompanying the Association in programs that promote business connectivity and enhance exchange and trade cooperation in the structural wood sector between Viet Nam and New Zealand.

This visit marks a natural continuation of the close relationship between SAWA, Sequal, and Tavico, built and strengthened through SAWA’s recent working trip to New Zealand, and opens up practical collaboration opportunities in the time ahead, grounded in shared values and a common vision for sustainable development.
