SAWA WELCOMES REPRESENTATIVE OF CLAYMARK INDUSTRIES – NEW ZEALAND

On the morning of October 28, the Ho Chi Minh City Structural Wood Association (SAWA) was honored to welcome Mr. Stuart Hazeldine  – Group Sales Manager of Claymark Industries CLAYMARK LIMITED (New Zealand), just one week after SAWA’s business mission to New Zealand.

Claymark Industries is one of New Zealand’s leading producers and exporters of Radiata Pine wood products, specializing in high-quality sawn timber and finished wood materials for the construction, furniture, and architectural finishing sectors. The company operates multiple production facilities across the North Island, applying advanced kiln-drying and remanufacturing processes to ensure precision and consistency. Claymark sources its raw materials from FSC – Forest Stewardship Council-certified sustainable plantation forests and maintains a strong distribution network across numerous international markets.

This visit was a warm follow-up to the hospitality Claymark extended to the SAWA delegation during their factory tour in Rotorua. Mr. Stuart’s visit also provided an opportunity to meet with SAWA’s members and partners in Vietnam, including the TAVICO Group – TAVICO Legal Wood Distribution Center (TAVICO DEPOT), TAVICO HOME – Hố Nai Furniture Hub, and Newhouse Solutions / Architecture Hub at 28 Thảo Điền, Ho Chi Minh City.

This friendly meeting further strengthened the partnership between SAWA and Claymark, paving the way for future collaboration in business and technical development within the structural wood sector between Vietnam and New Zealand.
