Mr. Đinh Hồng Kỳ – Chairman of the Board of Secoin Corporation – has been elected Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Association of Construction and Building Materials (SACA), succeeding Mr. Lê Viết Hải, Chairman of the Board of Hoa Binh Construction Group.
SACA recently held its 9th Congress for the 2025–2030 term. Mr. Đinh Hồng Kỳ, who currently also serves as Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Business Associations (HUBA) and Head of the Advocacy Committee for the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh City Green Business Association, officially assumed his new role.
Speaking at the congress, Mr. Trần Hoàng Quân – Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction – acknowledged SACA’s significant contributions to the city’s development through various networking, knowledge-sharing, and collaborative activities, which have helped improve the quality of operations in the industry.
Notably, SACA members have been instrumental in promoting green products and materials, contributing to the development of sustainable projects not only in Ho Chi Minh City but across many provinces in Vietnam.
Mr. Lê Viết Hải – SACA Chairman for the 2021–2025 term – noted that Vietnam’s construction and building materials sector has made its mark globally, with a presence in over 140 countries and territories, reflecting its growing international competitiveness.
According to Mr. Hải, Vietnamese construction enterprises, including many outstanding SACA members, have excelled not only in project execution but also in building comprehensive supply chains that meet international standards.
Mr. Đinh Hồng Kỳ, the new SACA Chairman for the 9th term, stated that under the motto “Strong Connections – Shaping the Future,” SACA will reinforce its mission to unite the business community, elevate the value of the construction and building materials sector, and promote sustainable development standards in the new era.
Over the past 34 years, SACA has brought together top domestic companies and renowned global brands in the construction and building materials industry. Today, the association has nearly 500 official members, around 300 members from industry sub-associations in Ho Chi Minh City, and close to 100 members from the city’s wood-in-construction sector.
